Abstract

Based on the development potential of tourism in the Mojokerto Regency, and continue to contribute to the economy of the community. Especially in the Tourist Area of Pacet the more popular tourist destinations continue to be developed one of the attractions Mojo Kembangsore Park (MKP). This study aims to describe the strategy of the development of tourist attractions Mojo Kembangsore Park in improving the economy of the community based on the involvement and participation of all stakeholders in the Village. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive research type. The location of this research include government institutions and related stakeholders who have the involvement of the development of tourist attractions Mojo Kembangsore Park. The manager of the tourist attraction by the government of the Village of Plot, the surrounding community, and the Department of Tourism, Youth, and Sports, as the agency supervisor and mentor all attractions in Mojokerto Regency. Determination of informants was done by purposive sampling technique. Meanwhile, the technique of data collection is done by in-depth interviews with informants, as well as the utilization of written documents. Furthermore, the technique of data analysis is by way of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of this study show a development strategy that do not run with the maximum. Based on the planning strategy, and development efforts that applied the manager of a tourist attraction. There are a variety of factors and constraints of the development of tourist attractions. Factors in the development of attraction product driven/supply side (attractions, aminities, accessibility, hospitality) and market driven/demand side (marketing/market access) is still not maximized. The main constraint of capital development, climate conditions, and the pandemic covid-19 make operational run is limited so the impact on the decrease in revenue attractions.
