Abstract
A good and appropriate payroll accounting information system for a company is a system that runs according to its function. This study aims to determine the design of the accounting information system for the employee payroll cycle in order to improve the company’s internal control at CV. Elbe Sport. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely a method in the form of a description of a description that describes an object based on existing facts. While the data technique of collecting data from this research is by conducting interviews with the company, conducting observations on the company, documentation and literature studies obtained from the company’s internal parties. The results obtained are CV. Elbe Sport does not yet have a system and procedure for employeed payroll that is the company’s reference or SOP (Company Operational Standart). So that researchers provide an employee payroll system design that is expected to have a better impact on the employee payroll cycle for CV. Elbe Sport. As well as the existence of duality in the finance department, so the researcher proposes a separation between the functions of the cashier and the functions of the accounting section.
