Abstract

The title of this thesis is Legal Protection for Service Users Online Packages That Have Lost in the Form of Loss to Damage to Goods According to Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. Company presence Online package delivery makes human work easier. However, this online package delivery service has several obstacles, one of which is if the promised item arrives within a certain time is damaged. The purpose of this paper is to find out the legal protection given to consumers who use delivery services who experience a loss in receiving their packages. The method used in this paper is a normative research method, namely by reviewing the relevant laws and regulations. The conclusion of this paper is that based on the Commercial Code, a freight forwarder is classified as an expediter and is only responsible for damage or loss of the goods sent
