Abstract

Smartphones are increasingly growing rapidly, many brands of smartphones emerging with various advantages. When buying a smartphone from different types of smartphone brands, specifications, and functions are often consumers do not buy a smartphone as needed. The TOPSIS method is a decisionmaking method based on the chosen alternative having the closest distance from the ideal ideal solution from a geometric point of view by using the euclidean distance to determine the relative proximity of an alternative with the optimal solution. The system can be run if the user enters criteria, alternatives, alternate values, and the user performs the selection process to get the smartphone specifications that match the data inputted by the user. From the results of the trial system chapter 6 obtained the results of the program calculation obtained the highest results with a value of 0.84529 which includes the value of 1 is an alternative that is required. So it can be concluded that the system can run well in accordance with both in accordance with the needs.
