Abstract

Project for the construction of the IAIN Tulungagung Faculty of Sharia and Law, which is located on Jalan Raya Mayor Sujadi, Ploso Kandang, Tulungagung Regency, East Java Province. built with several floors and 6 levels. The budget plan for the cost of civil structures used for construction is Rp. 16,978,473,000 and the implementation time is 7 months from 02 June 2016 to 31 December 2016 using the Unit Price contract system. In the project implementation plan outlined in the S curve schedule, there was a delay in the progress of the project implementation on the 7th week, to be precise, 11 July 2016 by 4.13%. so it is necessary to accelerate the project implementation time so that the completion of the project is on schedule. In this analysis, the cost of project acceleration is also calculated. The CPM method is used to be able to manage the project completion time more efficiently and effectively. To be able to reduce the impact of delays and project cost overruns. It is hoped that the Critical Path Method (CPM) can optimize/resolve the project delays.With the CPM method, it is hoped that the duration of the acceleration and the estimation of the acceleration time will be obtained in the building construction project of the Faculty of Sharia and Law of IAIN Tulungagung. The types of activities that are accelerated in the construction project of the Islamic Faculty of Sharia and Law Faculty of IAIN Tulungagung, East Java Province are jobs that are on a critical path and work scheduling according to the S Curve starting on July 11, 2016.
