Abstract

A construction project is a temporary activity that lasts for a limited period, with the allocation of certain resources in the implementation of a construction project. Time and cost are important and become a benchmark for the success of a project, in addition to budget and quality, in project implementation, and problems faced by the project. determine the project scheduler so that it can be completed on time and optimally. In the construction project of the Specialist Poly Building at the Pusdik Sabara Porong Sidoarjo Hospital, optimization was carried out to determine the optimal duration with minimum costs. The optimization used in the construction project of the Specialist Poly Building at the Pusdik Sabara Porong Sidoarjo Hospital is the CPM method. The The CPM (Critical Path Method) method is a planning method with work networks connected with considerations on work activities. In the CPM method, activities that are categorized as critical are activities that allow acceleration. To optimize the construction project of the Specialist Poly Building for the Sabara Porong Sidoarjo Hospital, secondary data in the form of RAB (Cost Budget Plan), Time Schedule (implementation schedule), and drawings of supporting factor projects for the acceleration process. Starting from getting a list of activities, compiling a network, and finding the critical path which is the beginning of the application of the CPM method. In the acceleration process using the CPM method, select critical activities that can be accelerated. Not all activities can be accelerated due to certain reasons. In this final project, the author conducts experiments with 31 times the acceleration to get the optimal duration with minimum cost. The results of the acceleration concluded that the scheduling with the CPM method was obtained when the execution time of the construction work of the Specialist Poly Building was known to have an optimal duration of 185 days. The cost of the optimal duration of Rp. 7,121,289,749.41 from the planned schedule is 189 days for Rp. 7,132,534,255. The cost-efficiency value of the Specialist Poly Building Project is (Rp 11,244,505.48).
