Abstract
The use of solar cells is greatly increasing to meet daily needs.However, currently the use of electrical energy from solar cells cannot be properly monitored and controlled. Therefore, a monitoring device and Kendal are needed to help share the amount of power coming out of the solar cell to supply household loads. Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a tool that can change the portion of the supply of electrical energy automatically using the way the relay works by taking into account the condition of the percentage of the battery. ATS is equipped with an Internet of Things-based monitoring system using the Telegram application which can control and monitor in real time. The Automatic Transfer Switch system can perform switching or load transfer from the main source to the backup source based on the condition of the percentage of the battery when it reaches a value of <11Volt with a battery capacity ranging from 36% -38%. So that ATS cuts off sources from PLTS and diverts the load to PLN sources. The solar cell monitoring system uses the telegram application as a data monitor for measuring solar cell output and monitoring voltage and current on the PZEM-004T sensor.
