Abstract
Mountain climbing is an activity with a relatively high level of danger. The number of mountain climbers is increasing day by day. The public's interest in climbing activities has become very popular. Even though with minimal climbing knowledge, this outdoor activity can turn into a dangerous activity. Determining the shortest path to a location is important in order to save time and costs. Depth First Search (DFS) is this method is carried out from the initial node in depth to the most recent (dead-end) or until it is found. In other words, the branch or child node that is visited first. Depth First Search also has advantages, one of which is that it quickly reaches the depth of the search space. If it is known that the path to the solution of the problem will be long then Depth First Search will not waste time doing a large number of shallow states in the problem graph. Depth First Search is much more efficient for search space with multiple branches because it doesn't need to execute all nodes at a certain level in the open list. Search algorithm in finding routes or destinations for the most effective and efficient trip search. In this study, an application to find the closest path from Based on Functional testing, the application can display the details of the route to the selected Ranupane and show the difference when the results are compared with google maps.
