Abstract

The development of the industrial world increasingly demands the application of technology and efficiency in the field of industrial dust control and air circulation due to a number of equipment that generates heat and air pollution. Dutaprima Indah is a private company that provides solutions to these problems by making breakthroughs in the field of industrial dust control and air circulation with ISO 9001 standard design and technology with engine products such as wall fans, exhaust fans, blowers, centrifuges, axials and dust collector systems. PT. In addition, companies also often receive warnings from customers because the estimated costs and time of making machines are often not in accordance with what happens in the field. Genetic algorithms are search techniques in computer science to find approximate solutions for optimization and search problems. Genetic algorithms become a special class of evolutionary algorithms using techniques inspired by evolutionary biology such as inheritance, mutation, natural selection and recombination or crossover. From the experiments that have been carried out by the user on the system with the initial input of the dustcollector system type, the crossover probability is 0.50, the mutation probability is 0.20. obtained the most optimum fitness value, namely -3.82023.
