Abstract
Malang Regency is one of the tourist destination districts in East Java Province which has quite a lot of interesting tourist destinations. In terms of the area of Malang Regency, it is in a mountainous area, the beautiful nature and the natural atmosphere of the countryside are still thick. It is no stranger to local people that Malang Regency has several tourism potentials with beautiful scenery. The selection of the right tourist attraction recommendations also has an effect on this, so to choose the right tourist attraction for tourists, a system in the tourism sector is needed which is expected to be used to obtain information and make decisions on the selection of tourism recommendations effectively. One system that can help the selection of tourist attractions is a decision support system. In the decision support system to choose a tourist recommendation place, the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method is used because in its application this method uses weighting. The user and the system will select several criteria with weights to perform calculations. The results obtained are recommendations for user tourist attractions. From the results of system testing, the SAW algorithm applied in this application can run well, for the value of the difference between the system calculation and manual calculation is 0, and the error in this calculation is 0% in 5 sample calculations.
