Abstract
The definition of a bridge is a connection or access for pedestrians or modes of transportation where bridges are needed for crossing roads, rivers, and valleys. In the final project on the DESIGN OF THE SUPERSTRUCTURE OF A 100 METER SPAN STEEL BRIDGE USING THE PARKER TRUSS IN TLOGOMAS, TLOGOMAS DISTRICT, MALANG CITY, the author ‘conducted a study on the design of a bridge structure using a steel framework with a 100-meter span of the Parker type. The Parker truss type was chosen because the’ main steel frame can support axial tensile or compressive forces, has advantages in easier installation, lighter bridge members, longer span capability, and simpler execution. The components are not excessively large, which facilitates transportation. A steel frame bridge consists of several main elements such as the main girder, cross girder, longitudinal girder, cross bracing, upper diagonals, lower diagonals, struts, and vehicle deck, forming a sturdy structure for safe and comfortable traffic systems. The regulations used in the Tlogomas bridge planning adhere to the Load Regulation (SNI) 1725 – 2016 for Steel Structures referring to (SNI) 1729 - 2020, while seismic loads follow (SNI) 2833 – 2016. Based on the analysis results, the bridge's superstructure utilizes profiles such as HB 500x500x19x32 for the main girder, WF 900x300x16x28 for the cross girders, WF 600x300x12x20 for the longitudinal girders, HB 300x300x10x15 for the upper bracings, and L 150x150x12x12 cm.
