Abstract

Gas bill is the calculation of the cost of using gas energy by each customer every month. Gas energy consumption by customers is measured using a device called a gas meter. Every once a month, the meter registrar periodically will come to record the number on the kWh meter, this number is called the stand meter. By recording meters manually, it makes the process of recording meters longer, errors in entering data often occur so that the results of meter records become less accurate, making daily reports using paper forms that are time-consuming and besides that customers who will make payments do not know the amount or the number of uses that must be paid because there is no output processing in the form of proof of use that makes it easy for customers to monitor the usage and nominal amount that must be paid. The meter registrar requires an application that is easily accessed in carrying out the meter recording activity using only a smartphone, besides being able to directly get a list of customers that must be visited to record kWh and information about the gas meter, it can also automatically send all related data to the server without must back up the documentation after the job is complete. Every time a stand meter is done, the customer will immediately get a receipt which can then be used for basic payments at the counter. Besides cutting time, this method is considered to be more customized in the presentation of reports which are also used as monitoring for evaluation in the meter recording process.
