Abstract

Road is a land transportation infrastructure that plays a role in the transportation sector especially for human mobilization and distribution of goods from one region to another. The Waingapu melolo road is a road that connects east Sumba district and west Sumba district which will be used as a road, with a planned road width of 6 meters without a median separating direction, shoulder with 2 meters left and right, and using drainage canals along the road. Study of the re-planning of the Waingapu - Melolo road refers to SNI 2003 or Pd T-14-2003, cement concrete pavement planning, Settlement Department and Regional Infrastructure or commonly called SNI 2003 concrete road planning, while for planning the side drainage channel refers to the drainage planning module road surface in 2016. This plan functions to get the rigit Pavement pavement thickness that is able to survive according to the design life of 20 years, as well as the calculation of plate thickness that can withstand the 20-year design life, and reinforcement that can limit the crack width that occurs in areas where the load is concentrated so there is no division of the concrete plates in the cracked area, and the joints are in accordance with the rules and provisions of SNI 2003 for connection types, and the connection geometry.Based on the planning of rigid pavement pavement that conforms to the standard rigid pavement planning of SNI 2003, and drainage planning in accordance with the module-3 guideline for 2016 road drainage planning, the pavement pavement pavement foundation thickness is 12.5 cm, plate thickness is 12.5 cm with reinforcement elongated with dimensions of 9 mm and transverse reinforcement measuring 8 mm, elongated joint dimensions 16 mm long 69 cm and transverse joints 33 mm in diameter with 45 cm length, and side channels with different dimensions and divided into 20 segments based on the location of the bridge and water tunnel
