Abstract
PT. INDAH PROPERTINDO SEJAHTERAH established the Royal Indah Regency residential area located in Durungbanjar Village, subdistrict of Sidoarjo Regency. Royal Indah Regency housing was established on an empty land which is still in the form of rice fields. With the change in the function of land to settlements, the rainwater absorption on the land will also change. Of course this will have an impact on the amount of runoff that leads to the drainage channel. Therefore it is necessary to plan the Royal Indah Regency drainage system which functions to organize water installation systems and to control erosion which can cause damage on the building. With the existence of drainage in housing, it is expected to be able to minimize the occurrence of inundation that occurs due to rainwater, and also supported by local conditions such as slope of the land, slope of the channel and the material used. This can affect the flow time and the amount of runoff discharge that will be discharged towards the channel outside the region. Until it is known how much runoff discharge is there after the construction of a residential area? To be able to determine the drainage facilities to be used such as sluice gates, and a pool to accommodate.
