Abstract

One of the national programs initiated by the government (KEMENKOMINFO) and KIBAR by involving all stakeholders in the creative digital ecosystem to make Indonesia as the digital energy of Asia by 2020, through out-of-school education programs capable of creating 1000 digital startups with a total valuation of 1000 billion USD and making the young generation of Indonesia as the main driving force. This study aims to determine the external activities of public relations KIBAR through Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital to create technopreneur. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research consists of public relations KIBAR which became the main source, with the support of information submitted by technopreneur who have followed the program, community and media that has the same concentration with Gerakan Nasional 1000 Startup Digital, which is developing digital ecosystem. Data collection techniques are conducted by conducting interviews, observation and studying the internal data documentation. Analysis of data used is an interactive model where the research is done continuously until thoroughly so that the data saturated in order to obtain an understanding of the focus of writing which then drawn a conclusion of general understanding based on reality. The result of research shows that the external activity of public relations KIBAR to create technopreneur through publication activity, event implementation, creating news, community involvement, information or image, lobbying and negotiation, and social responsibility have succeeded in creating technopreneur able to provide solution for the surrounding problem. In addition to creating teknopreneur external public relations activities can create a harmonious relationship with the community, media and program participants
