Abstract

Job skills training has the aim of knowing the implementation of the activities of the training participants in the UPT of the Vocational Training Center based on the existing vocational training by combining practical and the oretical concepts as well as computer technology. To find out the factors that hinder the implementation of jobs kills training at the UPT BLK. The research method used is a type of qualitative research. Informants in this study are officials who handle development and marketing at UPT BLK Surabaya, development and marketing staff and, Administration who manages and administers BLK. Data collection interview and documentation techniques, the techniquesused in data analysis are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the discussions how that the implementation of job skills training at the UPT of the JobTraining Center of the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of East Java Province includes (1). Job skills training at UPT Job Training Center, (2) . Factors that hinder implementation atthe UPT for Job Training Centers at theTransmigration and East Java Provinces, namely the printing press in the Office Administration Vocational School still needs to be added and the curriculum used by the UPT BLK is now replaced with a new version.Keywords : Implementation, UPT JobTraining Center, Training, Skills, Workers
