Abstract

The purpose of this Community Service Program (PM-UPUD) is to provide assistance to small businesses that produce tempeh, namely the Home Industry Tempe IKM Tempe Industry Siti Mahmudah. In the production process, this company faces problems because the traditional method of peeling soybeans by stomping causes long processing times, poor tempeh quality, and low production yields.The problems faced were addressed by creating a soybean peeling machine, teaching its use, helping to increase tempeh production, and conducting activity evaluations.The results of this service and empowerment evaluation show that the soybean and klecep peeling machines have been purchased and production has increased, with cleaner tempeh results, faster soybean peeling times than before, and higher net profits.
