Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan literasi informasi pemustaka, bagaimana analisa gap harapan dan kenyataan kemampuan literasi informasi Perpustakaan UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, bagaimana upaya perbaikan kemampuan literasi informasi model Seven Pillars SCONUL berdasarkan analisa gap atau analisa kesenjangan yang kemudian digambarkan dalam diagram Spider Plot. Selanjutnya akan rekomendasi perbaikan terhadap layanan pelatihan literasi informasi berdasarkan harapan pemustaka melalui diagram Spider Plot. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, teknik yang digunakan adalah menganalisis data dari 7(tujuh) variabel Seven Pillars SCONUL, yaitu Indentify, Scope, Plan, Gather, Evaluate, Manage, dan Present. Instrument yang digunkaan adalah kuesioner yang telah disebarkan kepada 52 responden. Hasil dari penyebaran kuesioner tersebut akan ditabulasi, kemudian dicari gap dan letak masing-masing variabel di dalam diagram kartesisus, setelah dilakukan analisis maka akan dicari strategi yang digunakan untuk memperbaiki kemampuan litrasi informasi dengan cara memberikan layanan bimpingan literasi informasi kepada pemustaka ABSTRACT This study aims to determine how the information literacy skills of users are, how to analyze the expectations and reality of the information literacy abilities of the UIN Sunan Ampel Library Surabaya, how to improve the information literacy skills of the Seven Pillars SCONUL model based on gap analysis or gap analysis which is then depicted in a Spider Plot diagram. Furthermore, there will be recommendations for improvements to information literacy training services based on user expectations through Spider Plot diagrams. The research method used is qualitative, the technique used is to analyze data from 7 (seven) SCONUL Seven Pillars variables, namely Indentify, Scope, Plan, Gather, Evaluate, Manage, and Present. The instrument used was a questionnaire that was distributed to 52 respondents. The results of the questionnaire distribution will be tabulated, then look for gaps and the location of each variable in the Cartesian diagram. After the analysis is carried out, strategies will be used to improve information literacy skills by providing information literacy assisted services to visitors.
