Abstract
Atheis or atheism comes from the Greek word (átheos), which is a belief that is contrary to religion, by spreading the understanding of free thought, scientific skepticism, and criticism of religion. films have various genres, one of which is anime films, which are Japanese works, one form of man-made fiction such as cartoons, so they are called anime. Researchers will examine the Seinen Record Of Ragnarok Anime film which has been aired on June 17, 2021, adapted from a manga and produced into an anime film by the Netflix platform. This anime tells the story of a battle between gods and humans where every 1000 years the gods and other religious figures confer to destroy humanity on earth, where 13 gods who have expertise in their fields against the 13 strongest humans in history on earth. This study discusses the meaning of atheist ideological messages contained in several episodes that have been selected by researchers in the Seinen Record Of Ragnarok Anime film. In this study, researchers have found the meaning of the message of the atheist ideology that is in accordance with the rationale of the atheist ideology, namely: practical and theoretical atheism. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method and uses theoretical analysis of Charles Sanders Pierces.
