Abstract
This study aims to find out about patent protection that applies in Indonesia. The development of information and technology is growing rapidly, and there are various technological inventions by people or groups of people who want to make something useful/beneficial for everyone. Technology was originally born from intellectual work, as a human intellectual work. Because its birth involves effort, time and cost, technology must have something of value or economic value and become an object of property. Improving patent protection is one of the intellectual property rights, because patents play a very important role in the development and prosperity of society, nation and state.
