Abstract
Inventory is one of the company's current assets that must be sufficient and is an important factor in the company's operational activities so that it implements systems and procedures for adequate and efficient demand for raw materials in order to develop the production process. The purpose of this study was to analyze and evaluate the application of the inventory accounting information system found in the company. The research method used was descriptive qualitative method. Data collected by the process of interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study concluded that the application of accounting information systems and procedures of PT. Sahabat Lingkungan Hidup City of Surabaya is still inadequate and less effective/efficient where there are still dual tasks and inadequate accounting information system procedures so that the authors propose an accounting information system that is adequate and more effective/ efficient which is expected so that the accounting information system for raw material inventory at PT Sahabat Lingkungan Hidup Surabaya City can be even better in the future.
