Abstract
In the current era of globalization where technological progress is developing rapidly, followed by the development of the economic system so that competition in the business world is becoming increasingly tight. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of production and sales costs on gross profit and to determine the dominant variables in influencing gross profit. This research is a quantitative research. The population in this study is the financial statement consisting of production costs, sales and gross profit in 2013-2021, with a sample of 36. The data used are secondary data. The data analysis technique used in this study is the multiple regression analysis technique. The results of testing the hypothesis in this study indicate that the partial cost of production has a significant effect on gross profit, while the partial sales have a significant effect ongross profit production and sales costs simultaneously have a significant and significant effect on gros profit. And the results of the research that the most dominant variable affecting gross profit is the sale of PT. Tri Banyan Tirta,Tbk
