Abstract
The purpose of this writing is to explain the rampant acts of flirting or collusion between doctors and medical representatives (detailers). Doctors are lured with various forms of gratification, for example money, tourist tickets, goods and so on. The actions of doctors who take part in the medical representative (detailer) game certainly have an unpleasant impact on the patient's side, the price of pharmaceutical preparations and medical devices doubles, doctors are impressed that as long as they prescribe, the important thing is that the targets set can be achieved. Pharmaceutical companies include budgets to bribe these doctors as part of production costs so that the prices received by the public become expensive. In fact, there are many regulations to stem this disgraceful practice, starting from the Indonesian Medical Code of Ethics, Minister of Health Regulations, Consumer Protection Law, Criminal Code, Code of Ethics for Pharmaceutical Companies and others, but they have not been effective in stopping it. Even in the latest Health Law, the sanctions imposed are still limited to administrative sanctions.
