Abstract
Congestion is a condition where the traffic flow exceeds the capacity of the road, causing the free speed of the road to approach or exceed 0 km/hour which result in a traffic queue. This traffic jam occurs at the Karangpilang Intersection and the Menganti Traffic Post Intersection, where the amount of traffic volume is high and the road capacity is not balanced, there will be a buildup of traffic flow which causes long queues and the road will experience congestion so there will be delay and traffic jams. long queue. This is the reason it is necessary to conduct research at this location. The purpose of this study is to find alternative solutions to problems that match these problems. In this study, samples taken in the field included road geometry, traffic volume, queue length, and delays. Sampling was carried out for 4 days, to be precise, on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, September 27-30 2022, starting at 08.00 WIB until finished. Queue length sampling in this study was 50 samples per each location. The method used in the calculations of this study is the 2014 Indonesian Highway Capacity Guidelines. Based on the results of the research, the actual queue length relationship model and the 2014 PKJI were obtained as shown by the equation Y = -6.699 + 13.506 X1 –1.829 X2 + 3.877 X3 for the actual queue length and Y = 60,458 – 7,427 X1 – 0,911 X2 + 5,827 X3 for the 2014 PKJI queue length
