Abstract
The increasingly globalized world situation has indirectly forced us to sharpen our observations of the information circulating. In addition, this situation has also demanded to improve self-quality. One of the keys to achieving some of these points is to read. Based on the background above, the problems in working on this research are: "How to implement clustering data for Mts Darul Ulum Waru library visits". The method used in this research is the K-Modes method. K-Modes is a measure of distance (dissimilarity) in the form of a match of an attribute value of each dimension to the center of the cluster, replacing the mean with the mode, and using a frequency-based method to update the mode in the process of minimizing the distance (dissimilarity) of all data to the center of each cluster. respectively. The results of the analysis that has been carried out on the case of grouping library visit data with K - Modes can be concluded that: From the results of the experiment 5 times, the highest accuracy result was the fourth experiment of 81.51%. And when the amount of data is the same in each cluster, the data at the top will be the mode value
