Abstract
The library of SMKN 2 Surabaya has a variety of books that can provide a lot of insight to students, these books are used as reference materials for doing assignments and also as learning media. There are several problems in the library, namely registration, borrowing and returning are still done by hand in the book borrowing books, causing duplication of data. in this recommendation system using a priori method which includes the type of association rules in data mining. Rules that state the association between several attributes are often called affinity analysis or market basket analysis. Association analysis or association rule mining is a data mining technique to find associative rules between a combination of items. An example is the combination of a customer buying food in the form of instant noodles along with eggs. Association analysis is known as one of the basic data mining techniques. One of the stages of association analysis that attracts attention is to produce an efficient algorithm is high frequency pattern analysis (frequent pattern mining).Of the 6 test data using 100 transaction data, the results are as follows: minimum support 5, minimum confidence, 10 results of rule 84, minimum support 5, minimum confidence, 20 results, rule 82, minimum support 5, minimum confidence, 30 results, rule 76, minimum support 10, minimum confidence 10 52, minimum support 10, minimum confidence 20 results of rule 52, minimum support 10, minimum confidence 30 results of rule 46.
