Abstract

Waron Hospital is a hospital that serves public health, especially women's and children's health. The Waron Hospital was built on an area of 4,742m2, and is planned to have 12 floors and a total of 99 beds. So it is hoped that it will be able to address supply chain obstacles (bottlenecks) in the health sector. A case study from the East Sussex Healthcare Trust in the UK which is part of a modular development project at Conquest Hospital, Hastings shows how the use of BIM has resulted in a state-of-the-art MRI scanning facility. The BIM contractor on this project is Digital Engineering Studio, which is responsible for creating MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing) models and drawings. Thus, BIM has helped in the delivery of important assets and also overcome various challenges that need to be overcome to ensure construction projects run to completion and optimally. This time, the design research for planning the construction of the Waron Hospital building also uses the BIM method with the aim of analyzing time and costs. The application of BIM in this research was carried out using Tekla Structures. 3D modeling includes modeling foundations, columns, beams, plates and roofs. 4D modeling is carried out by adding a work schedule to the 3D modeling that has been created. Time performance analysis is carried out using the S Curve method. With BIM, analysis results can be automatically generated based on construction management calculation formulas. Analysis is carried out to obtain a delay value. After getting the delay value, the influencing factors will be looked for. When the results of the analysis are obtained, recommendations can be made. The results obtained for modeling the construction of the Women's and Children's Specialist Waron Hospital building in 3D using Tekla Structures are quite detailed. Results were also obtained for scheduling this project starting from August 2022 to July 2023 with a total of 420 working days. By using type KL 600 × 300 concrete columns with a volume of 4,608m3, type KSW 600 × 600 concrete columns with a volume of 4,608m3, type K2 900 × 600 concrete columns with a volume of 58,752m3, type S1 450 × 700 concrete blocks with a volume of 36,735m3, type SD concrete blocks 500 × 700 has a volume of 19,994m3, floor plate with a volume of 238,309m3. With an estimated total cost of IDR 30,294,689,140.05.
