Abstract
CV Imprasium Tehnik is a small service company that is engaged in the maintenance, repair, sales and installation of Air Conditioners (AC). The problems that occur in the running system are mostly still using manual systems. Frequent repetition of data and customer data errors result in the information produced being less effective because the time used to search customer data along with other sales reports is quite time consuming. The purpose of this study is to design a more computerized sales accounting information system using the Database Management System so that customer data, order transaction data, and available spare parts stocks can be updated automatically. This study uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data obtained by observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the cash sales accounting information system services at CV Imprasium Tehnik mostly still use manual systems. After the design of a database-based cash sales information system, the new sales system can improve the quality of information that exists because it meets the information quality fulfillment criteria.
