Abstract
The need for electricity is directly proportional to the population, so the demand for electricity needs also continues to increase along with the increase in population. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor subsystems that are already experiencing deficits. There are several parameters that must be considered in order to maintain the quality of electrical power, these parameters include the power factor and load growth. In this study, the authors chose the Krian 3 and 4 subsystems which still do not have a generator in that place, so that electricity needs only rely on 2 IBT with a capacity of 2 x 385 MW. In addition, there is a load growth of around 6 - 8% each year, so studies must be carried out in order to maintain the need for electricity supply and reliability in the Krian 3 and 4 subsystems. To overcome this, it is necessary to add a conductor at the Cerme Substation called Incomer. Cerme which functions to transfer loads that previously received shipments from Krian 3 and 4 will be moved through the conveyer, namely to the Ngimbang subsystem which is still a surplus because it has 2 IBTs with 2 x 385 MW capacity and 2 x 323 MW generation and the highest load in the subsystem is only 593 MW. Therefore, the authors conducted a study using Digsilent which aims to carry out the load transfer process and voltage improvement in the Krian 3 and 4 subsystems from 147 kV to 148 kV.
