Abstract

The high strength concrete that included in INS 036468-2000 (Pd T-18-1999-03) was defined as the concrete that has pressure strength which signed bigger equaled 41,4 MPa. the efforts yo discover the high quality concrete that's by enhancing the shaper material quality, for example solid state of aggregate and the softness of cement grain. the strength concrete also could be did by adding the additional material additive essence in order to relieve the water using and accelerate the amplification. in this research, the material addition used to mixture the concrete, accelerator. the accelerator of addition essence was gained from PT. Sika Indonesia, addition essence, retarder was gained from PT. Kimia Konstruksi Indonesia. the cement that used was portland cement type 1 Gresik mark.production of PT. Semen Indonesia. In this test using the experimental method, the concrete test consists of 2 variants consisting of specimens with added accelerator material and test specimens with additional retarder material. In the compressive strength test used 36 samples of cylindrical concrete specimens measuring 150mm x 300mm. At the Civil Engineering Laboratory, Bhayangkara University Surabaya. Material testing method uses, concrete mix planning uses SNI 2002. From the results of this study the results are 50.02 Mpa for freshwater retarder material-added concrete and compressive strength decreased by 1.14%. in seawater immersion, for the concrete accelerator get a yield of 53.0 Mpa freshwater bath and concrete compressive strength decreased 1.71% in sea water immersion
