Abstract
The influence of technology is huge, especially in the development of information. Information that is accurate, fast, and precise is very important for life today because information is a necessity in conveying something. The use of computers is one of the developments in information that is very useful because it can process data, make reports and send information over long distances and in determining the potential of students. Determination of potential is an absolute thing done by the school institution, namely the school, guidance teachers have an important role in giving status to students. Determining the potential of students requires special handling professionally, because it involves the success of students in facing the exams to be given. Errors in determining the readiness of students to face national examinations can negatively affect the process and results of the student's own examination. Then we need a method that can help minimize the impact of errors when determining the potential of these students, namely by the technique of grouping data from the results of data mining. The need for data mining because of the large amount of data that can be used to produce useful information and knowledge. Naïve Bayes is a machine learning method that uses probability calculations. The use of this algorithm is considered appropriate because Naive Bayesian Classifier is a classification algorithm that is simple but has the ability and high accuracy. Based on System Implementation, and the results of functional testing tests, it can be concluded that the Application of Academic Information Systems Based Online and Applications Naïve Bayes Web Service has been running as expected. And the results of manual calculations and Naïve Bayes Web Service above have similar results, namely Siswi Sofiansyah Maulana Potential = Yes, Probability Yes = 0.0891, Probability No = 0.0117. Student Siti Nur Habibah Potential = Yes, Probability Yes = 0.1019. No probability = 0. Siswi Sofiyah Potential = Yes, Probability Yes = 0.0162, Probability Not = 0, Then it can be concluded from the results of the above calculation, that the most potential students are Siti Nur Habibah with a Probability value Yes = 0.1019.
