Abstract

Sunlight is an abundant natural resource and can be converted into electrical energy. But the problem faced if you want to convert this energy is the energy instability that depends on the intensity of sunlight. To solve this problem a solar power generation system was created using MPPT. MPPT is a technique that is widely used to optimize the power output of solar panels. In this study the generator applied is a solar power plant. This generator system uses MPPT and boost converter which can output out voltage greater than input voltage. This system is created using the matlab application. Keywords: solar panel, MPPT, boost converter, Matlab.
