Abstract
Setting is an activity that is often done to control the value of a variable. Arrangements can be made in various ways from open to closed doors. In this report presents the development of an open loop control system for controlling the speed of DC motors based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The controlled system is a DC motor. And what is controlled is to regulate the speed of the DC motor with the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technique. This study uses a PC to give commands to the microcontroller which functions to increase or decrease the rotation of the DC motor, so the microcontroller issues a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal to the driver to strengthen the current. The PWM signal that has been amplified by the current is used to drive the DC motor.
