Abstract
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is a disease that is quite popular in Indonesia.Judging from the large number of patients infected with the disease and not the least number of patients died as a result of not being helped immediately. Lack of public awareness of the symptoms of dengue fever which ultimately led to many fatalities, because it was too late to get medical treatment. Thus we need accurate analytical skills in helping the patient's diagnosis process. Backward Chaining Method is a chain that is crossed from a hypothesis back to the facts that support the hypothesis, and Certainty Factor is a method to prove whether a fact is certain. The system can be run if the user enters the symptoms that are experienced and provides a value of confidence in the symptoms they are experiencing and then gets the results of the diagnosis along with the solution
