Abstract

Human resources (HR) can be equated with the meaning of work, employees, or employees, ie people who work or have a job. Human resources in a company has a very important role, because without the support of good human resources, the company will face problems in achieving corporate goals. The objectives to be achieved in this research are to study about Leadership, Work Discipline and Compensation on Employee Performance of Agriculture Service and Food Security of East Java Province in Surabaya. Analytical technique used is multiple linear regression, whereas hypothesis test used is F test, t test, and dominant. The result of the test shows that simultaneously, leadership variables X1, work discipline (X2), and compensation (X3) on Agricultural Service and Food Security of East Java Province in Surabaya are seen from Fcount (443.021)> Ftabel ) and the resulting significance value of 0.000 and this value is much smaller than 0.05. The partial leadership (X1) has a significant effect on the performance of the employees of the Agriculture and Food Security Agency of East Java Province in Surabaya, as evidenced by the tcount (6,125)> ttable (2,00100) and the resulting significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05 . Work Discipline (X2) has a significant effect on the performance of Agricultural Service and Food Security staff of East Java Province in Surabaya seen from the result of tcount (9,235)> ttable (2,00100) and the significance value is 0.000 which is smaller than 0,05. Compensation (X3) has a significant effect on the performance of Agricultural Service and Food Security staff of East Java Province in Surabaya, seen from the result of tcount (4,526)> ttable (2,00100) and the value of significance resulting from 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. Variable of Work Discipline (X2) has dominant influence to the performance of Agricultural Service and Food Security Official of East Java Province in Surabaya with the largest value of β (beta) coefficient is 0,425, bigger than other variable.
